The 100th season of the National Football League promises to be an interesting one for the New York Jets.

As Sam Darnold moves into his second season as starting quarterback, many are expecting big strides from the former USC Trojan. Factor in the backfield addition of star RB Le'Veon Bell, and they might just have cause for expectation.

DraftKings Sportsbook has some intriguing splits for both offensive players, which we'll take a look at below.

Sam Darnold
2019/20 Season Odds

DraftKings has set the TD line for Darnold at 22.5 touchdowns. Last year, in 13 games, he threw 17 TDs and 15 picks. That's a rate of 1.32 touchdowns per game, which in a full sixteen game slate would equate to just under 21 touchdowns.

His passing yards are set at 3,600. The Jets kept hold of their two starting wide receivers from 2018 (Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa). Whilst this is far from the best duo in the league, Anderson certainly has vertical potential. Their catch percentage last year was down at 54% though, which isn't great.

DraftKings Darnold Splits

The addition of Jamison Crowder as slot receiver will certainly help the offense, as before his recent injury he was one of the top slots in the league.

Darnold hit 220YPG passing last year, which over 16 games equates to 3,526 yards. With Bell looking to force his way into the offense, this line looks about right. Amazingly though, DraftKings bettors have placed 99% of the handle (and 94% of bets) on the over for Sam Darnold.

Le'Veon Bell

Bell lines up for his first season outside of Pittsburgh since he was drafted in 2013.

The superstar back had his best year in 2017, before sitting out 2018 due to contractual disputes with the Steelers. That year he ran for 9 touchdowns and received two more.

This season, DraftKings Sportsbook has his rushing TD line at 7.5, which perhaps looks a little low on paper. He's sure to see a lot of the ball this year, especially in goal-line situations.

Almost all of the handle at DK Sportsbook has gone on the over here, with 95% of turnover being on more than 7.5 touchdowns.

DraftKings Bell Splits

He's intriguingly priced at +1800 to be the rushing TD leader in the league. Whilst the likes of Todd Gurley start to look injury-prone, Bell could look big odds in that market. Bell did lead the league in rushing attempts in 2017 with 321.
