Another terrific match from the ATP tournament in Zhuzai is played early on Wednesday morning and we have two of the most watchable players on the tour going head to head as Nick Krygios takes on Andreas Seppi.

Australian Krygios is certainly one of the most interesting characters in the game and he can barely walk onto a court these days without grabbing the headlines with something he has done.

Moneyline

He played the Laver Cup over the weekend and controversy was never far away from him again.

The match he played in was a terrific one, the Australian had overcome a 4-0 deficit in the first-set tie-break to take the opening set in Geneva but Federer fought back from two down in the match tie-break to win 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 10-7.

After the match, he decided to down a beer in front of the press and then announced that he wouldn’t play another game as he was injured, despite then turning up here claiming he is fully fit.

That was his first match since the US Open and he did have a good run until the third round then despite a tough draw, beating Steve Johnson in a grueling match before he found Andrey Rublev too much to handle.

Andreas Seppi has been playing a lot of tennis recently and comes into this match fully fit and raring to go, a run at this tournament is possible as on current form he’s flying with confidence.

He didn’t do anything in the US Open when he went out in a tough first match to Grigor Dimitrov but has more than made up for that since when he has played in two challengers, reaching the quarter-final in New Haven and then winning the Cary challenger.

He was expected to go far and was made the top seed but he did it in style only losing two sets in the whole competition, culminating with a fantastic victory over Michael Mmoh when clinching a tense final set by six games to three.

The head to head between these two players is 3-1 to the Australian and he also won the last meeting between them in Acapulco earlier this year.

Whenever Nick Krygios plays it's well worth watching and providing everything is fine with him and he plays to his best this is a match he should win, that’s a very rare occurrence though these days and recent behavior yet again suggests we could be in for some fireworks on the court.

Our Pick

Andreas Seppi to win the match pays out at +170 with DraftKings

As always, huge questions remain over the Australian player and we again will have to guess about not just his mental state coming into this match but also his physical state after retiring from the Laver Cup at the weekend.

Andreas Seppi is playing some great tennis at the moment and comes here off the back of an excellent win at the Cary Challenger, take him to win this at a big price and to inflict more misery on Nick Krygios.
